Wayne Reid is your main man of Kingfish Plumbing and has been working in the industry for 20+ years.  In 2014, with the help and support of his wife Sarah, he took the leap to run his own business and has never looked back.  Cue risk-taking quote…“what if I fall? ….Oh, my darling, what if you fly?”

You may be able to see Wayne’s curls and smile from a mile away.  He is a tall drink of water, as a generation once said.  But seriously, he is known, not only for his honest and quality workmanship but for his friendly and easygoing nature as well. Wayne grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney where generations of his family have resided.  He is well respected and very much liked in the community.  In 2020, Wayne + Sarah were ready for a lifestyle shake up for their young family and discovered the beauty of Warners Bay on Lake Macquarie.  Now, when he doesn’t have dust in his hair and pipes on his mind, he is happily playing dad to his two littles, cooking up a new dish in the kitchen, getting stuck into a home reno project or finding a moment to get wet in the surf.  Of course, much time is also spent creating a fulfilling life with his wife and friends too.

I bet you are wondering why we call ourselves Kingfish Plumbing?  Well, quite simply, Kingfish is one of the best catches. They may not be the biggest fish but they are certainly amazing quality and at an affordable price…they are the likable Royals.   Plus, we didn’t want to just name our business after a suburb or our family name… it’s been done.  So like this website, we do things with a bit of thought and love. After all, we think effort is impact and that sums up how we approach the age-old profession of Plumbing.
